Valentine’s Day is a time for celebrating love and affection, but for some of us, it’s just another reminder of our single status. However, this year I decided to embrace my solo lifestyle with a Valentine’s t-shirt that proudly proclaims “Ghosted Again” in bold letters across the chest.
At first glance, the shirt may seem bitter or petty, but for me, it represents empowerment and self-love. It reminds me that I don’t need anyone else to make me feel complete and that being ghosted (or rejected) is just a part of the dating game. Plus, wearing the shirt out in public has been a conversation starter with other singles who can relate to my experience.
